Endurance International Group Seeks to Hire 150 Tempe-Based Employees in 2014 Tempe, AZ, March 13, 2014 — Endurance International Group (NASDAQ:EIGI), a leading provider of cloud-based platform solutions designed to help small and medium-sized businesses succeed online, will be hosting a Meet and Greet in its Tempe office on Wednesday, March 19 from 5:00 to 9:00pm. Endurance hopes to hire as many as 150 employees in Tempe this year. Endurance currently employs over 2,600 people around the world, and the Tempe office is home to the company’s customer and sales support center for a variety of its brands, including FatCow, iPage, IPOWER and SEO Gears. The Tempe office is an open-space work environment known for its ‘desert casual’ dress code, themed sales rallies, and dedication to customer satisfaction as depicted in a recent company video found here. The Meet and Greet on March 19 will include a tour of the office, giving potential candidates the opportunity to get a taste of the distinctive culture — a culture fueled by a unique environment which includes a ‘fun zone’ replete with a pool table, video games, and DJ booth. This commitment to quality of life at work is evident in other zones of the Tempe office, which results in a healthy ‘work hard/play hard’ mentality. Additional employee perks include free drinks, endof-month lunches, Fresh Fruit Tuesdays, Bagel Thursdays, and bottomless gourmet coffee. “We are looking for some very special people who really want to put the customer first,” said Ron LaSalvia, Chief Operating Officer of Endurance. “We want them to step into the customer’s shoes, feel what the customer is feeling and then suggest the right solution that will solve their problem — all in that very first call.” Adds LaSalvia, “We expect a lot from our people and we do whatever we can to help ensure their success, from the way we have engineered the physical environment, to the shared values that drive our culture.” Endurance’s Tempe office is located just steps away from the McDowell Mountains, near the zoo and botanical gardens. The company employs nearly 400 people in the area, making it a significant part of the community. In fact, Mark Mitchell, Tempe’s mayor, attended Endurance’s last open house. “I was so impressed with Endurance when I visited last year and got to experience their offices,” said Mayor Mitchell. “Tech industry jobs like these help us to build a stronger Tempe for the future and to attract new industry to our community.” LaSalvia adds, “We believe that small and medium-sized businesses drive our economy. We take our commitment to helping these business owners very personally. We celebrate the spirit of someone starting up a small business, people acting on their ideas to make a difference in the world. We love the fact that we can be actively hiring in Tempe during a period of slow 1
economic growth. It shows that we are on to something and that we are delivering a service of value. We are helping small businesses succeed.” Endurance is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts and has offices in Tempe, Austin, Houston, and Provo, among other locations. The company is currently looking for highly motivated individuals who share the company’s passion for making the web a better place. For questions about the event, email [email protected]
